A little about me:
I currently reside in Park City, Utah, where I get to see panoramic mountain views every day. I love living in Park City where I’m surrounded by mountain trails, a laid-back mountain culture, a constant stream of local events, great food, and of course great music. I love having live music and wonderful musicians constantly coming and going in this town.
My musical background begins with wind orchestra in 6th grade. I played the clarinet reasonably well for about six years. That’s where I learned about the foundations of music. I picked up my dad’s guitar in high school and with the aid of the internet, learned how to play it. Off and on through college I dabbled with talent shows, songwriting, and music as a hobby. It wasn’t until my band, Bonanza Town came together, that I started taking music more seriously. I always loved to sing, but never thought that I was any good at it. Once I started working with BZT in 2010, I started to develop my musical horizons. I found out that I’m actually not terrible at singing – ironically, I’m pretty good at it. We started playing out in 2011 and it has been an adventure ever since. We released our first EP in June 2014. I started playing solo shows around Park City, Midway, Heber, and Salt Lake, and developing my skills as a solo artist in 2013. I love having the best of both worlds available to me; I love gigging with my band, and I love the mellow feel of an acoustic show, too. I continue to work on songwriting, vocal technique, and getting to play as much music as people want to hear!
